Athletic Trainer for Waverly Public Schools

I am orignally from Lincoln, but moved away with my family as a small child.  I attended the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas, where I received my BS in Athletic Training in 2005. I went on to graduate school at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where I received my MS in Athletic Training in 2007.

In previous positions, I worked at Old Dominion University where I was the Head Athletic Trainer for Women’s Basketball and supervised graduate athletic training students. Most recently, I worked at my alma mater, University of Central Arkansas, for 3 ½ years where I was an Approved Clinical Instructor in the CAATE accredited Athletic Training Education Program. I taught classes in the Athletic Training Education Program and Kinesiology Department. I provided medical coverage for baseball and men’s soccer, along with, supervising athletic training students in a clinical setting.

Currently I am Head Athletic Trainer for Waverly Public Schools. I also work many midget football games in the Fall and softball tournaments for Lancaster Youth Softball Association each Summer.

I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends, watching Husker athletics, and exercising.
