Athletic Trainer for David City Aquinas and David City Public Schools

I am originally from Atkinson, NE, a small town in north central Nebraska. I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training. 

After my undergraduate coursework I earned my Masters Degree in Exercise Science at the University of Central Missouri.  In addition, I worked as a graduate assistant Certified Athletic Trainer and covered the wrestling and women’s soccer teams. I became a Certified Athletic Trainer while I was here, in 2005.

Next, I worked at the University of North Carolina Wilmington as aCertified Athletic Trainer for the volleyball, swimming and diving teams. 

I spent the next four years working in an orthopaedic clinic in Wilmington, NC assisting physicians with the patients and providing outreach Athletic Training coverage to a local high school.

I joined the Bryan Health staff in September 2011 and am currently the Head Athletic Trainer at Aquinas Catholic High School and David City High School. I also help with athletic trainer coverage at Lincoln Midget Football games and Lancaster Youth Softball Association softball tournaments.

In my spare time I enjoy outdoor activities, reading, and spending time with my wife Laura and daughter Leah.
My family recently moved to David City and are enjoying the community and a much shorter commute to work.
