Ryan Baumert, PA-C, ATC

Practicing as a Physician Assistant in orthopaedics at LOC allows me to incorporate three passions that I have in the health care profession: the human musculoskeletal system, sports medicine, and helping those in need.”

Ryan Baumert joined Lincoln Orthopaedic Center, P.C. in August 2006 and practices in the clinical and surgical settings. Ryan graduated from Des Moines University in 2006 where he received a Masters of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. He received a Masters of Education in Athletic Training degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia in 2000. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University. He is a native of Scribner, Nebraska.

Prior to working as a PA, Ryan served two years as an Outreach Athletic Trainer in Southeast Nebraska and two years as Head Athletic Trainer at Lincoln Southwest High School. Ryan is on staff at Bryan LGH Medical Center East and West, Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center, Lincoln Surgical Hospital, and LOC Surgery Center. Ryan is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is certified by the Board of Certification for Athletic Training. He is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants, Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants, National Athletic Trainers Association, and Nebraska State Athletic Trainers Association.

Ryan is married and has a daughter and son. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing and watching sports activities, doing various remodeling and outdoor projects, and helping on the family farm.
