Charles “Chuck” Scholtes joined Lincoln Orthopaedic Center in July 2013.  He has worked in clinical and surgery settings for many years.

Chuck was born in Ainsworth, NE and attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He received his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Upon graduation, Chuck returned to Lincoln where he has been practicing orthopaedics since 1984. He is a Board Certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is a distinguished fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, a member of the Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants in Legal Medicine and American Academy of Surgical Physician Assistants.

Chuck enjoys the surgical aspects of orthopaedic medicine, as well as patient care and education of orthopaedic practices. He is currently on staff at Saint Elizabeth’s Regional Medical Center, Bryan LGH Medical Center, York General Hospital, Crete Area Medical Center and LOC Surgery Center.

Chuck is married with 4 children, 2 in the United States Air Force and 2 in the nursing profession. He has been a musician all of his life and enjoys playing guitars. He has accrued a collection of many instruments over the years and plays in a classic rock band here in Lincoln. He enjoys doing things with his family, watching sporting events, fishing and cycling.
