Dr. John C. Yeakley joined Lincoln Orthopaedic Center, P.C. in November 1978. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery.
An active member of the Lincoln medical community, Dr. Yeakley served as Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Bryan Memorial Hospital in 1990 and Lincoln General Hospital in 1995. He currently serves on the hospital staffs at Bryan Health, CHI Saint Elizabeth and Thayer County Memorial Hospital. He is a volunteer faculty member of the Lancaster County Education Program.
He is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Medical Association, Nebraska Medical Association, Nebraska Orthopaedic Society, Lancaster County Medical Society, and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Yeakley’s decision to become a physician began after developing an interest in biological sciences in college and a desire to follow in the footsteps of a close family friend who was a physician. His hobbies include water sports, snow skiing, and golf. He is married and has three children.
